Argentine is nearly 3700 Kms long from north to south and 1400 Kms from east to west. It can make up in three parts: The fertile plains of Pampas in the center of the country, which is the center of the Argentine’s Agricultural, the Patagonia’s Plateau in the south near the Tierra del Fuego; this is the last part of the continent South American. And the Andes mountain range along the western border with Chile, with the highest point located in the province of Mendoza, the Cerro Aconcagua at 6960 meters on mar level is the America’s highest mountain.
The plains west and south from Buenos Aires are among the most fertile of the world. The western part of the La pampa province and San Luis also are plains, but it is drier. There are some semi-arid regions for example the Gran Chaco in the north of the country. The Argentine climate is predominantly temperatures with extremes ranging from subtropical in the north to sub-polar in the south.
